Despite the very fancy building and good location I was highly disappointed with the price offered and lack of transparency regarding fees and spot price calculations within the consult.
We went to three gold traders in the Sandton and Illovo area, Gold Avenue offered us R20,000 less than their competitor just 5mins down the road. If you don’t do your research you will very likely leave substantially short changed.

It’s a very secure nice place, easy to find with the instructions giving to you by your consultant. My consultant Trent was really amazing and helpful. Recommend highly to anyone trying to sell their gold.

I had an appointment with a competitor but decided to 1st get a valuation done here. The company is in a safe well maintained building. Trent was friendly, honest and professional he quoted then I went to the competitor. I ended up going back to The Gold Avenue. After this experience, I will always use their services going forward try them out when you are shopping around!
